I've been wanting to this challenge since I've read Loralie's and
Jenn's. Plus I wanted another family to play so I didn't over do it on
my ISBI family and get bored of them.
This is a perfect genetics challenge, rules found here: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=454886
Along
with an Alphabet challenge (same as a regular legacy but each
generation has a letter all names start with) and a Riskacy. I am not
finding anything official for the rules on this, except for its pretty
much the same as a regular legacy but your sim has to marry the first
sim that comes on their lot. Well with TS3, usually that would be the
uni mascot if you have it, or none if you don't. So I changed it up for
my playing and it is the first person they see on or off their lot. But
mostly it's the Perfect Genetics challenge I am doing. There is not
scoring for this challenge, or the other ones, so that will at least be
something I won't have to worry about.
I did decide
since all the kids have to have the same letter for their generation,
I'd add a little fun to it and use color names. The rules are you have
to pass on hair and eyes, to make it harder, you can add skin. I decided
I'd make it harder. So in order for a child to be heir, they will have
to pass down my founder's hair, eyes, and skintone. Since I like
colorful sims and I change them as I see them, I made the rule that no
one other than my founder (and any that she breeds) will have that color
hair, eyes or skin. The skintone I chose was green (no other sim will
have it, so that way I can't "cheat" it on the offspring) Hair and eyes
are hot pink with green highlights.
So I think that is
it, let's meet our founder. Razzel Dazzel Rose Crayola. Quiet a
mouthful, so we're going to just call her Raz for short.
Raz
hates the outdoors, dislikes children (as per the rules), is a natural
cook, proper and a coward. Everything was randomized except for her
dislikes children. I will also be rolling for the LTW not that we'll be
completing any as that is not important in this challenge. But I'm going
to try. 1 thru 5 will be what is on the screen, if I roll a 6, I get to
pick what I want! Raz's LTW is something like Blog Somethingother, and
Social Network something, I'll have to look again and then post it.
After
she worked on her social networking a bit, we headed to the library. I
read you can find books there for the social networking skill, so that
was our first stop.
And we're off! The first sim to
walk in is Jenny Lho. Raz tries to strike up a conversion with Jenny,
but Jenny wasn't interested.
A little complimenting and friendly interactions and Jenny is a little more welcoming.
Raz and Jenny become friends and Raz invites Jenny to come hang out at her place.
"She better not try and kiss me again!"
Boy, you're kind of a butt!
"I'm not a butt, I'm straight, and that girl keep making the moves on me!"
Haha,
yeah, we'll see how long that lasts! Once there Jenny heads straight to
the bathroom, and plays in the mirror. She's childish, great!
Jenny was no more into it when we got her to Raz's house.
"I said no!"
"But the Goddess said you have to!"
I did, keep trying Raz!
There we go! We finally have lift off!
"I said no! I'm straight, don't you get that!?"
You slept with her!
"I was lonely, that is all."
Ugh, she's pissing me off already!
A few more this's and a few more that's, and finally we get them together for good!
Now
it's recommended you start producing quickly and keep them coming till
you get an heir. As I have been playing this, I see why now. So without
wasting anytime, we get our founder pregnant.
And Jenny follows suit right after.
Three
day's pass and it's time for the first baby to be born. I did have
enough points by this time to get Raz the fertility treatment. So twins
were born!
Meet Apricot, in the apricot colored clothing. And Aquamarine, well you get the picture.
"This is bullshit! I call bullshit, I don't like kids!"
Well tough, you're going to have to have more.
"What!? I hate you."
As
you can tell, she is not a fan of mine anymore. Apricot got the right
hair and skin, but not the right eye color though. And Aquamarine only
got the right hair. Good thing Jenny is having some!
The
only picture you will see of these babies. I decided not to cheat the
ages, but I did change a couple things around to make it a bit easier (I
hope!) Babies are 2 days, Toddlers 4 (unless they learn all their
skills, and if twins or more all have to know them before aging up)
Child and Teen are normal and then I added a day to each YA, adult and
elder. Still making it the normal 90 Sim Day's lifespan.
The next night Jenny has twin boys. Asparagus (only has the skintone)
And Artichoke (Hair and Skin not eyes)
Asparagus and Artichoke were named after colors, don't let the food names fool you.
After
the girls were born we made over the house. Jenny moved in with 21,684
plus had an 85,000 car in her inventory! So we bulldozed the crapshack
they were living in and rebuilt the crayon box! It seriously looks like
crayons just puked all over the house!
Ah finally
birthdays! Not that it made it better actually. Four screaming babies,
or 2 screaming toddlers and 2 screaming babies, it's all the same!
Apricot
Aquamarine
The skilling starts right away. Aquamarine has learned how to walk and talk.
More birthdays!
Asparagus
And Artichoke
Oh good, now we have 4 toddlers! What was I thinking?!
